Hazardous Materials Worker

Hazardous materials workers identify and safely remove any dangerous materials from a site. These materials sometimes include asbestos, radioactive and nuclear waste, arsenic, lead, mercury, or other dangerous substances. Workers may have to stay calm and work quickly when responding to emergency situations where hazardous substances are endangering other people.

Certification Requirements
Educational Prerequisites

Grade 12 or equivalent.
