  • October Brings New Changes in the Air!

October Brings New Changes in the Air!

Welcome to the October issue of JobsPeopleDo.com!

Fall brings many changes. The weather changes, and so does your mood. You put on an extra sweater before you go outside, and begin mentally preparing for the cold winter ahead. You will also be preparing for your upcoming mid-term exams. It may seem far away now, but it will always creep up on you before you know it. The best thing to do in  Fall is organize and prioritize yourself and your studies. Bears prepare themselves in the Fall for winter hibernation, and so can you; crazy comparison, I know, but it’s true! If you are feeling bogged down by school work, go outside and breath in the fresh Fall air. It is a gorgeous time of year to enjoy nature and ponder possibilities.

In October’s JPD issue, we have some fantastic articles for you: how to prepare for law school, the changing jobs of the future, goal setting tips and tricks, accommodations for blind students and an informative article and documentary called Bridging the Gap: Women in Skilled Trades.

In the coming months, JPD will have a handful of new job videos to look at, and new website updates to share. We are also adding a ton of new writers to the team, sharing their experiences of post-secondary studies and the job market. Enjoy your October and be sure to check us out next month!
